AUTISM – LEVEL 1

Autism Level 1, often referred to as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 1, is a distinct classification within the realm of autism diagnoses. This classification is associated with a milder form of autism, where individuals may face notable challenges in social communication but exhibit fewer instances of restricted or repetitive behaviors compared to those with more severe forms of autism.

They offer personalized guidance and support, working closely with the individual, their family, and relevant service providers to create a comprehensive support plan tailored to address specific needs. Their focus is on helping access appropriate services, therapies, and support to ensure necessary resources for personal development and well-being. Additionally, support workers assist in group activities, social engagements, and community access programs to promote social interaction and community involvement.

They provide comprehensive support and guidance by collaborating closely with the individual, their family, and relevant service providers to create a customized support plan tailored to the individual’s specific needs and goals. This entails helping them access appropriate services, therapies, and interventions to address their unique requirements. Additionally, our Support Workers facilitate access to group events, social activities, and community access programs to encourage social interaction and integration into the community.

We work diligently to connect individuals with suitable programs and services in their local area, to promote their social engagement, skill development, and inclusion within the community.
